About The Event

Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Japan (FCCJ), in collaboration with the other Nordic chambers, is delighted to announce the final Nordic Share & Connect event before the winter break.

Join us for an evening of insights and inspiration co-hosted by renewable energy pioneer Orsted Japan K.K. to hear about their leading role in creating a more sustainable future together with Ms. Momoko Nojo, a passionate youth activist dedicated to promoting youth engagement in politics, sustainability, and gender equality within Japan. With Nojo’s unique experience of studying in Nordics during her graduate studies, she will share her recent journey, including a visit to Ørsted headquarters in Denmark.

Ørsted and Ms. Nojo’s presentation will revolve around thought-provoking questions:

  1. “Fostering Public Engagement in Politics and Sustainability” – exploring the distinctive social context in Denmark that ignites public interest in politics and sustainability, including climate change and renewable energy. How does Denmark’s enthusiasm compare to Japan, especially among the younger generation.
  2. “Cultivating Innovation and Dynamism in Japanese Policymaking” – how can we inject innovation and vitality into Japan’s policy decision-making process.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with like-minded Nordic professionals, learn from Ørsted and Ms. Nojo’s experiences, and participate in stimulating discussions. This event promises to be a unique platform for expanding your knowledge and professional network.
