Carl Eklund asks the second question about a route from Stockhol to Haneda...

Gustafsson: A new route to Japan requires huge inevstments, e.g. two new planes (300 USD). SAS would like to have commitments from businesses, which is hard to get.

DCCJ Chairman Stefan Linde Jakobsen asks about consolidation in the European airline industry and why airlines do not wet lease planes and concentrate on the service part of the business.

Gustafsson: 'with my airline industry hat, not SAS': Consolidation would be necessary but currently the alliances that have done cosolidation are too busy integrating. Wet lease is a future option, but currently it would be difficult to guarantee unifrom high quality.
