MINISTER LEENA LUHTANEN AND ICT DELEGATION VISITS JAPAN
Minster of Transport and Communications, Ms. Leena Luhtanen visited Japan 3-7 October. Apart from meeting her counterparts in the Japanese government, Minister Luhtanen gave an opening speech at the Finnish-Japanese Information Society Forum at Waseda Univerity, organized by Tampere and Waseda Universities and the Finnish Institute in Japan.

In connection with the visit of the Minister, Finpro organized an ICT Business Delegation to Japan, consisting of 12 members. The delegation also participated in the On Tuesday 7 October FCCJ board members and representatives of the ICT industry among our members had a luncheon meeting with the delegation. The meeting, attended by 20 persons, proved to be a good occasion for both parties to exchange views and information.

FCCJ also participated in a briefing for the minister and her delegation on Sunday 5 October at the Embassy were we presented our activities and the latest Business Confidence Survey.
