This is an extra issue of the FCCJ e-mail bulleting where we would like to inform you about events at the Expo 2005 Aichi during and around the Finnish National Day held on Thursday 12th of May.

I will be back with our regular issues, such as a report from yesterday's club evening and information about the tour to the Sapporo Brewery (on Wednesday 18 May) in my next regular issue early next week.

12 May - Finland's National Day at Aichi Expo

The Finnish National Day will be held on 12 May, attended by Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen. The program will start at 11:00 in the Expo Dome.

The performers include Trio Töykeat, Anna-Mari Kähärä & Pekka Kuusisto, a cappella group Rajaton and the Sibelius High School Chorus. For more about the artists, check here!

Free Expo Tickets
The FCCJ has free entrance tickets to the Expo on that day. If you are planning to go, please apply for tickets by clicking link below. Note that this offer is valid only to FCCJ members (and staff of member companies). Depending on demand we can give you 1-4 tickets. So indicate how many tickers you need and make your application by Friday 6 May. We will send out the ticket on the 9th.
Note also that the tickets are valid only on the 12 of May.

Jyväskylä Business Seminar at Aichi Expo
13 May - Competitive Human Technology from Finland

The City Jyväskylä, the Regional Development Agency Jykes and Jyväskylä Science Park invites you to a Business seminar on Friday 13th of May, where they will introduce Jyväskylä Region and the business opportunities between Japanese and Finnish companies.
