News from Finland

Finland's Nokia announced on Thursday that the headquarters of Nokia Siemens Networks is to be located in the city of Espoo, within Nokia's Karaportti estate.

Grin of the week

Getting Out of a Ticket (R12)

A young woman was pulled over for speeding. As the motorcycle officer walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book, she said, "I bet you are going to sell me a ticket to the Highway Patrolmen's Ball."

He replied, "Highway patrolmen don't have balls."

There was a moment of silence while she smiled, and he realized what he'd just said.

He then closed his book, got back on his motorcycle and left.

This probably would not work in Japanese....

Last but not least. We have launched a new promotional package for our corporate members. For a very reasonable fee you will get your company logo on our web site and email bulletins (with links) and in all printed material. The first members to have signed up are listed below, as all those who join will be in future issues.
For details, please contact me.

Best regards
